The Pollution Control Board is planning to celebrate Diwali carefully in AP. Pollution Control Board Chairman AK Parida said that postage stamps should be fired only between 8-10 pm on Diwali day. Kovid said the state government had decided to this extent with the third phase warnings. He said orders have already been issued to district collectors, SP’s, and other departments in this regard.
He issued a statement to this effect on Friday. He said that as part of environmental protection with a view to public health, people should not shoot ordinary posts. Green tapes emit small amounts of ash, pollutants, noise, and smoke compared to normal ones. People were asked to understand the current situation and cooperate with themselves. It was suggested that the tapes be shot within that allotted time.
